Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization within the Broader Public Sector to support the recruitment of an Administrative Assistant. This opportunity will support the housing division to support with answering calls related to housing applications and tenant inquiries. The selected candidate will be able to work independantly with minimal direction, be available to work on-site in Port Moody, Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm. They will be available to start work as of January 27th and work until the end of April, 2025. There may be opportunity for extension beyond April based on performance within the role as well as business needs. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Format and maintain various documents with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Make and answer telephone calls to assist tenants and housing applicants.
  • Schedule and book meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes 
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • High attention to detail, responsible for document formatting
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Proven experience in a busy office setting
  • Independent worker and adept at juggling multiple tasks
