We are seeking a skilled concept artist, illustrator or product designer to recreate jewelry products as color illustrations in the style of industrial design sketches. These illustrations will serve as conceptual visualizations, helping to showcase the design intent, materials, and form of each piece in a stylized yet precise manner. The goal is to create visually compelling artwork that aligns with our brand’s premium aesthetic while providing an elevated, technical representation of our jewelry. Project Scope: Recreate jewelry products as detailed, color concept illustrations in the industrial design sketch style (precise linework, shading, and material rendering). Capture the essence of metal textures, reflections, and gemstone details while keeping a slightly sketch-like, dynamic feel. Deliverables include high-resolution digital illustrations in PSD and PNG formats (transparent backgrounds preferred). Expected number of illustrations: 5 Skills & Requirements Required Skills: Illustration & Concept Art Expertise – Strong ability to create detailed, high-quality illustrations with a refined industrial design sketch aesthetic. Industrial Design Sketching – Experience in technical, product, or industrial design-style rendering, with a focus on material realism and perspective. Understanding of Jewelry Design – Knowledge of how metals, gemstones, and reflections interact with light and how to represent them accurately in sketches. Color & Material Rendering – Ability to illustrate gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones with realistic shading, highlights, and reflections. Line Work & Shading Techniques – Proficiency in controlled line weights, hatching, and shading techniques to create a premium, professional look. Digital Illustration Software – Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or Sketchbook Pro for rendering and refining digital illustrations. Attention to Detail – Ability to capture the fine details of jewelry (e.g., intricate engravings, gemstone settings, chain links) while maintaining a clean, stylized sketch aesthetic. Strong Composition & Presentation Skills – Ability to create well-composed illustrations that highlight the form, texture, and scale of each piece. Receptive to Feedback & Revisions – Willingness to refine sketches based on feedback to ensure alignment with the brand’s visual identity. Time Management & Deadline Adherence – Ability to deliver high-quality work within established timelines while managing multiple illustrations. Preferred (Bonus) Skills: Background in Product/Industrial Design – Experience with jewelry, fashion accessories, or high-end consumer goods.
