The company is a division of Compass Group and has more than 1,200 registered dietitians, 300 executive chefs, and 17,000 professional food service team members.Job Summary Working as the Director of Culinary Operations you will be responsible for assisting in culinary training initiatives, food program development, special events, account support and refreshes with account Chef's and team members. This would be with the Mayo Clinic Enterprise. This position will require 75% travel through the Enterprise: MN, WI, FL, and AZ. With our resources and your expertise as an Executive Chef, you will be valued as you go through your day making a difference to our patients and customers. The ideal candidate can be based out of: Phoenix, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Jacksonville, or Chicago. Key Responsibilities:Develops and implements operational plans and systems to ensure that all contractual obligations are metAssists in implementing corporate and regional programs based on Company and Regulatory standardsSupport development for client specific programming needsDevelops and effectively communicates strategies for improving customer (Patient and Retail) satisfactionProvides training programs to ensure consistent, high-quality food at the facilityDevelops Culinary Salaried Team within RegionProvides on-going training to Regional Directors of Operations in the area of food quality, presentation and purchasing complianceAssists in roll-out of new products or programs as requiredProvides direction to Region Team to assure compliance with all Company purchasing programs and initiativesCompletes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlineVisits units and completes reports in a timely manner (within 7 business days of actual unit visit)Manages budget in a fiscally responsible mannerParticipates in Patient Visitation rounds with facility management team during each site visitPerforms other duties that may be assigned Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or Associates degree in Culinary Arts Degree with seven years progressive food service management experience.
