The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a/an EHS Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.

The EHS group in San Luis Obispo supports day-to-day functions of operations. This group is seeking an individual who wants to broaden their knowledge of safety end environmental management systems, assess risk and manage corporate compliance.

What You'll Do:
•Learn to lead EHS training
•Spend time performing and learning the work of an EHS specialist
•Develop a working knowledge of local, state and federal EHS regulations
•Conduct EHS Assessments (PPE, Hazard/Risks, Safety Walks)

•Document and cross-reference
•The student will be given projects centered around health safety and/or environment

What We Seek:
•Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other people or groups
•Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple assignments
•Aptitude to research and solve problems
•Basic understanding of manufacturing environment and processes

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
•Strong writing and communication skills
•The ability to perform compliance-based research

Graduating in Fall 2025 or later
