Essential ResponsibilitiesEquipment Operation & MaintenanceOperate and maintain heavy equipment including skid steers, tractors, and various farm implementsPerform routine equipment inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenanceMaintain organized, clean, and safe workshop spacesOperate chainsaws and power tools safely and effectivelyProperty Maintenance & ImprovementsExecute fence and gate construction, repairs, and maintenancePerform basic carpentry and plumbing tasksHandle general property upkeep including mowing, brush clearing, and grounds maintenanceMaintain buildings and structures through regular inspection and repairChange air filters, batteries, and perform other routine maintenance tasksAnimal Care & ManagementPerform daily animal care duties including feeding, health checks, and habitat maintenanceMonitor and report any health or behavioral concernsMaintain clean and safe animal environmentsAssist with special animal care projects as neededGeneral SupportAssist with furniture assembly and placement, including artwork installationHelp coordinate and execute organization projectsRun essential errands related to farm/ranch operationsSupport special events and projects as neededMaintain accurate records of completed work and maintenance schedulesRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in farm/ranch operations and equipment maintenanceFlexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and during special eventsDemonstrated expertise in safely operating tractors, skid steers, and various farm equipmentPhysical capability to perform continuous manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.Cooperative, service-oriented attitude and ability to work independently and take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completionValid driver's license with clean driving record and Reliable transportation to various property locationsBasic computer proficiency for communication and record-keepingStrong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitudeExcellent communication skills Work Environment & Physical RequirementsWork is performed primarily outdoors in various weather conditionsPosition requires physical stamina for continuous walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reachingMust be comfortable working around livestock and farm animalsAbility to respond to time-sensitive situations when neededWhat Sets the Ideal Candidate ApartExperience with modern farm equipment and technologyBackground in property maintenance or facilities managementKnowledge of local agricultural practices and conditionsBasic understanding of irrigation systems and water managementExperience with livestock handling and careHistory of long-term employment demonstrating reliability and commitmentWe offer competitive compensation based on experience and a dynamic working environment where no two days are the same.
