Job Description

We are seeking a Packaging Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating packaging solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and product safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize packaging designs for medical devices in compliance with ISO 11607 and FDA regulations.
• Conduct packaging validation (shelf-life studies, transit testing, and seal integrity).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing) to ensure packaging meets product and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement cost-effective, sustainable packaging solutions .
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee material selection and testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and support regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in medical device packaging .
• Strong knowledge of ISO 11607, FDA, and ASTM packaging standards .
• Experience with sterile and non-sterile packaging .
• Proficiency in packaging design software and testing protocols .
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
