Pharmacy Technician (Mail-Order)

Responsibilities and Duties - Fulfill prescription orders with precision and attention to detail, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized compounding area.
- Work closely with the fulfillment team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of compounded medications to patients.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of compounding materials and supplies.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, standards, state regulations, and pharmacy policies.
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement by participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent
- No Experience Necessary
- Current Technician Registration in Good Standing with applicable Board of Pharmacy
- Active State Pharmacy Technician License or certification as required in the state.
- Ability to operate computer and laboratory equipment
- Detail Oriented
- Strong organizational skills

- Experience in a fast-paced working environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards

Entry Level Requirements - Will log 500-1200 hours of experiential training in the pharmacy as per exam requirements.
- Pharmacy Technician Licensure
- Required Equivalent Experience - New hires must apply for a temporary technician license through the State of Illinois or show proof that they have applied within 3 months.
- Must sign up for and begin preparation for the Certification Exam by 6mos anniversary date in this position.
Physical Requirements - Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to repetitively use hands, wrists, and arms to perform job duties.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force in order to lift, carry, pull, and/or move objects as required.
