Position Overview:

At Amulet, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified sales representative to follow up on (inbound) marketing qualified leads generated by Marketing and find and screen prospects (outbound) who could benefit from our products and services.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Human Machine Interface solutions , be a quick learner who has strong communication skills, and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales engagements for success.

 

Responsibilities:

• Utilize HubSpot and other best in class sales tools, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
• Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
• Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads into sales opportunities
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
• Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

 

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:

• Experience working with HMI or embedded technologies
• 5+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding quota
• Strong communication skills via phone and email
• Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
• Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
• Stay upbeat, understanding that each no is one closer to a yes

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skill Sets:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience
• Experience as a sales development representative, preferably at a company selling HMI products
• Technical Aptitude: background in computer science or engineering
• Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM software
