Job Title: Senior Estimator – Structural Steel

Location: New Rochelle, NY

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

As a Senior Estimator – Structural Steel, you will:

• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for structural components of heavy civil, highway, and vertical construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and risk factors.
• Develop full-scope estimates for Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Progressive Design-Build projects.
• Prepare technical proposals and collaborate with teams on cost estimates and subcontractor/vendor pricing.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid interviews.

The Candidate

• BS in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering with 15+ years of preconstruction/estimating experience.
• Expertise in civil/site construction, structural systems, heavy civil, highway, and transit structures.
• Proficiency with estimating software (OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, AutoCAD 3D, HCSS Heavy Bid).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate complex bidding processes.
