About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales for its global SMB business. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the company's high-velocity sales, leading a global organization to exceed customer and sales objectives. This role demands a proven, hands-on leader with a strong background in inside sales, particularly within the enterprise software sector. The VP of Sales will be responsible for championing the sales strategy, leading change initiatives, and building a high-velocity sales team with exceptional talent. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, self-disciplined leader with a track record of success, capable of driving significant revenue and fostering a goal-oriented, collaborative team environment. Key responsibilities for the VP of Sales include continuous growth of the sales organization, creating an atmosphere of success and empowerment, and developing and executing strategies to achieve annual growth targets. The role also involves cultivating relationships with key members across the organization, managing sales pipelines, and leading a globally dispersed team. The candidate must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in sales and inside sales management, with at least 10 years in inside sales management specifically. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA is a plus. The role requires a leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to deliver results under pressure. The VP of Sales will also be expected to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and may require domestic and international travel of up to 30% of the time.
