Schedule: Full Time Shift : Monday - Friday;3-11:30PM-With Weekend Rotation The community you’ll be caring for: · Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando · We offer great benefits with immediate Health Insurance coverage · Career growth and advancement potential · Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America · AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country · We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year The role you’ll contribute: Installs, maintains and repairs plumbing systems and medical gas systems. Tests fire systems valves, tamper switches, fire pumps and dry deluge fire systems. Assists in operation and general maintenance of all essential repairs related to the facility. The value you’ll bring to the team: •Installs, maintains and repairs domestic water pumps, water piping lines, water filters and plumbing fixtures •Repairs and maintains steam stations, valves, heating and condensate return stations, and sewer and storm drains •Maintains the piping and supply of cylinder and bulk medical gas systems •Assist in operation and general maintenance of painting, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems. Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested •Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs plumbing, mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and piping as scheduled or needed under general supervision •Responds to in-house Work Orders and PM’s on daily basis, and in a timely manner •Under general supervision may be required to respond to emergency calls •May be required to take call in accordance with facility in a timely manner •Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Maintains record ensuring compliance with TJC, Federal, State and Local regulations and standards. Responsible for keeping current on maintenance logs •Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School Grad or Equiv and 2 years experience LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED : • Driver's License LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION: REQUIRED: •Apprentice License required in Texas only •Valid state driver's license This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
