About the Opportunity:

Job Title: TIG/MIG Welder

Pay Rate Range:$22.50-24/Hour

Location:Plymouth, MN

Schedule: 2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 3:30PM-2AM.

Position Type:Temp to Hire

Sheet Metal Team Lead Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Some Vo-Tech training and/or six months experience.
3. Basic knowledge of using welding machines.
4. Work with an average amount of supervision.
5. Record time on job assignments.
6. Complete job assignments on time.
7. Follow all safety rules, including using all recommended personal protection equipment.
8. Performs in-process and finished part inspection.
9. Performs preventative maintenance of equipment.
10. Regular attendance and punctuality.
11. Ability to lift material on an average of 20-75 pounds.

Sheet Metal Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sets up and operates some types of welding machines.
2. Reads and interprets most mechanical drawings and shop routing.
3. Plans, lays out and performs some types of welding operations.
4. Welds standard parts with average tolerances.
5. Selects and uses correct welding rods and clamps.
6. Selects correct fabricated parts to weld.
