Job Description

Our client, a leader in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient material handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate Contract 

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00

What's the Job?

• Responsible for material transfers, including receipt of stock, warehouse storage, and stock disbursements.
• Accurate filling of job and sales order pick lists and delivery of parts to production and/or shipping.
• Assist Inventory Control Clerk with daily cycle counts of inventory in the warehouse.
• Participate in all warehouse functions, including stocking shelves, packing boxes, and shipping finished goods.
• Operate forklift truck when necessary and ensure safe operation using all safety devices/tools.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
• 1 year of related experience using computerized inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to local offsite warehouse.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and solve complex problems.
